- Our Holiday Angel program has been a great success this year. Thank you to all who have supported our program. All our families have been matched for 2011. We look forward to working with you in 2012!

Holiday Angel Program
| “In my family, we have decided not to exchange presents anymore in the holiday season, and just do this program instead. It makes for a much better Christmas!” |
- Our Holiday Angel Program matches donor families with families in need (Flemingdon Park, Thorncliffe Park and Victoria Village areas) on a one-time only basis to ensure that each family member receives much needed gifts and supplies during the holiday season.
- Staff members at New Circles interview family members so that they can identify their individual needs and receive gifts of new clothing, groceries and household items.
- Interviews take place during October and November. Donors are then sent a family profile by email by mid-November which lists family members and their needs and wishes. This is a wish list only to be used as a guide for shopping.
- Donors deliver their Holiday Angel baskets to New Circles in mid December. Designated volunteers then deliver the gifts to recipient families.
- All of our recipients are living in poverty and most are brand new to Canada and have very little.
- We have run this program at New Circles for 6 years and to date close to 3300 people have benefitted.
